Saddle Trials & Postage

Postage

Postage is £4 for small items/parcels. These will be sent either Royal Mail or Parcelforce depending on size.

Saddles are £20 for up to 2 saddles to post out in the UK only. Saddles returned from trial can be posted by yourselves, or I can organise courier collection for £20. 

Unfortunately I cannot ship saddles out of the UK -  however I can list items on Ebay so that they can be purchased through their Global Shipping Portal.

 

 

Saddle Trials

 

All saddles must be paid for in advance. Please study all photos of the saddle you are interested in. Every saddle is thoroughly checked by a qualified SMS Saddler. So all stitching, straps etc will all be in safe condition. Tree sound and ready to use. Secondhand saddles will all show some signs of use/wear, however minor. I try to mention anything significant, but photographs will show the exact condition it is in once prepared for sale.

 

Trial is strictly 7 days from receipt. The saddle must be sent back with tracked delivery on the 7th day of the trial at the latest. Late returns will be charged at £20 per saddle, per day. 

 

Saddles must be returned in the exact condition they were sent in, clean and with tags left on. I reserve the right to deduct a £20 cleaning and admin charge per saddle, if these terms are not met. If there is any damage or extra wear to the saddle then I can either refuse the saddle and immediately return the saddle to you, or I reserve the right to deduct from the refund the cost of repair to return the saddle to its original state when purchased.

If the saddle has been altered in any way, I.e. has been flocked to fit, width altered, blocks removed, straps repositioned, then you are deemed to have accepted the saddle and forgo the right to return for a refund within the trial period or not. Please be aware of these terms before you instruct a saddle fitter to fit a trial saddle to your horse. If a saddle arrives back and has been altered in any way then the cost to return the saddle to its original condition will be deducted from the refund or the saddle refused for return.

Saddles must be delivered to the return address included with your item - If they are delivered to a collection point or other address then I reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund to cover my time & fuel to collect it.

Refunds will be processed immediately on receipt and will be minus postage costs. Refunds will be returned in the same method of payment.
